Gathering, Forming, and Inspiring Catholic Women
MACCW brings Catholic women together through a rich calendar of spiritual and educational programs designed to deepen faith, build community, and develop leadership.
Annual Retreats
Our retreats offer women a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and renewal. Guided by experienced spiritual directors, each retreat is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and draw closer to God in the company of fellow Catholic women.
Conventions
The MACCW Annual Convention is the highlight of our year — a gathering of Catholic women from across the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for Mass, keynote speakers, workshops, fellowship, and the celebration of our service award recipients.
Workshops
Throughout the year, MACCW hosts workshops on topics ranging from spiritual formation and Catholic social teaching to practical leadership skills and parish ministry. These sessions are open to all Catholic women and are designed to equip and inspire.
Seminars
Our seminars bring together experts in theology, ministry, and community service to address the issues most relevant to Catholic women today. From family life and social justice to prayer and advocacy, MACCW seminars inform and empower.

MACCW is a proud member organization of the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW), a federation of more than 3,000 Catholic women's organizations across the United States. Through this affiliation, the women of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee are connected to a national network of faith, advocacy, and service.
The NCCW speaks on behalf of Catholic women on issues of faith and public life, provides resources for spiritual growth and leadership development, and unites women in a shared commitment to the Gospel. MACCW's membership in the NCCW ensures that our local mission is amplified on a national stage.

MACCW Mission Statement
Our purpose is to unify the work of the women of the Archdiocese. To serve as a communication source between MACCW and the Archbishop making possible coordinated action on programs and projects of the Archdiocese and to develop the gifts of women through programs of information, formation and action.
NCCW Mission Statement
The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its members to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

God of heavenly wisdom, you have given us Mary, Mother of Jesus, to be our guide and counselor. Grant that we may always seek her motherly help in this life and so enjoy her blessed presence in the life to come.
O Mother of Good Counsel, patroness of the National Council of Catholic Women, intercede for us, that we may be wise, courageous, and loving leaders of the Church. Help us, dear mother, to know the mind of Jesus, your son.
May the Holy Spirit fill us with reverence for God's creation, and compassion for all God's children. May our labors of love on earth enhance the reign of God and may God's gifts of faith and living hope prepare us for the fullness of the world to come.
