2025 MACCW 8th Grade Girls' Scholarship Winners

In 2025, the Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW) introduced “The Golden Rose

Award Program” to the Milwaukee Archdiocese. This program originated in the Chicago Diocese and was

encouraged nationally several years ago by our National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW).

The goal of the program is to recognize and promote the value of young women in high school (aged 14-

18) who make a difference in their parish and community.



Letters are sent to the Pastor of each parish in the archdiocese inviting him to nominate one high school

young woman who regularly attends Sunday Mass and is actively engaged in the life of the Church,

demonstrating exemplary leadership, spirituality and a commitment to service.

On March 15, 2026, we will host the first Awards Program for the nominees, their families and their

Pastors at St Stephen’s Parish with the Most Reverand Archbishop Jeffrey S. Grob. The program will begin

at 2PM and be followed by a short reception.
